Allahabad/ Bhopal, Oct 11 (ANI): Fans all across India celebrated Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s 72nd birthday with great fervor on Saturday (October 11). The enthusiastic fans in Allahabad city, also the hometown of the actor, said that they wish that their idol celebrates more and more birthdays and he keeps making good films for the people. The fans have formed various fan clubs and committees for their favourite idol. Prayag Service Committee is one of such kind. Gauri Shankar Malviya is another fan who has collected the movies and posters of the megastar in Bhopal. He has formed a committee called Big B Fans Service Committee. Bachchan quit his job as a Calcutta freight broker for films and earned recognition in the 1970s after playing a Dirty Harry-style cop in the ground-breaking movie, 'Zanjeer'. His best-known film, Sholay, ran in Bombay for seven years - turning him into an icon in India.
