Fallout 4: Guide to Perks list and working, building character; Pip-Boy Companion app available

Ahead of its release, Bethesda's Fallout 4 video game has released various details but sadly, most of them come from leaked footages. The game will have an open world, and the story is set in post-apocalyptic Boston, Massachusetts. Fallout 4 is scheduled to hit PC, PS4 and Xbox One on 10 November, 2015.

Bethesda has released a new video trailer that shows some new gameplay that gives clarity to the game after some fans leaked it out early.

This two-minute video delves into the world created in the game, showing various locations in the game that have been affected by the Fallout. We come to know about the fear Synths have created among the existing humankind. The characters are seen speaking about the stopping Institute, "a malignant growth that needs to be cut before it infects the surface."

Guide to Perks List and its Working

Fallout 4 has an improved Perk system that consists of SPECIAL stats that will help players in the game to level-up faster. The Perks not only give characters new abilities but also improve the ones that they already have.

One can unlock a new Perk based on the SPECIAL stats. Gamepur has provided us with details of its divisions that looks like a mini-tree, helping us to unlock a specific perk.

Strength training

Strength is part of the SPECIAL stats and its training has to be measured in raw physical power. This will affect how the character carries damage melee attacks in order to gain instant one point.

Punching Attacks do 20% more damage.

Do 20% more melee weapon damage.
Requires: STR 2

Armorer
Protects you from the dangers of Wastelands.
Requires: STR 3

Blacksmith
Gain access to base level and Rank 1 melee weapon mode.

Heavy Gunner
Heavy Guns do 20% more damage.
Requires: STR 5

Strong Back
Gain +25 carry weight.
Requires: STR 6

Steady AIM
Higher the fire accuracy and stay on target.
Requires: STR 7

Basher
Do 25% more damage with Gun Bashing
Requires: STR 8

Rooted
Gain +25 Damage Resistance and melee attacks deal 25% more damage.
Requires: STR 9

Pain Training
You receive a Power Armor(Robots and oversized enemies are immune to stager)
Requires: STR 10

Perception training

Perception is also part of the SPECIAL stats and its training lets the characters have sixth sense and affect weapon accuracy in V.A.T.S., besides allowing players to gain one point instantly.

Pickpocket
Increase your pickpocket by 25%.

Rifleman
Do 20% more damage with higher kill-count.
Requires: PER 2

Awareness
Know your enemies weakness and damage resistance in V.A.T.S.
Requires: PER 3

Locksmith
Advance your picklock ability
Requires: PER 4

Demolition Expert
Increase your explosive damage by 25%.
Requires: PER 5

Night Person
Gain +2 Intelligence and Perception between hours of 6 pm and 6 am.

Refractor
Instant gain +10 Energy Resistance
Requires: PER 7

Sniper
Improve your focus on control and hold longer breath when aiming.
Requires: PER 8

Penetrator
Target Enemy's body part blocked by a cover with decreased in accuracy.
Requires: PER 9

Concentrated Fire
Gain +10% accuracy on every attack on same body part
Requires: PER 10

Endurance training

Endurance is also part of the SPECIAL stats. It straining allows the character to have overall physical fitness, which helps in improving health and during sprinting. It allows players to gain one point instantly.

Guide to build a character

In Fallout 4, building a character is dependent upon a person playing the game as each person will have his own approach.

Players can build a perfect character using SPECIAL stats. Building a perfect character will enable players to cruise through any hard and challenging situation in the game, thanks to Gamepur that has provided the guide.

It must be noted that that 'Vault 111' is used to change player stats. The Perks are affected by the skills.

Players searching for the Mysterious Stranger perk will need Luck stats of 4. Below are the stats that a player will need to build:

• Endurance - 3
• Charisma - 6
• Intelligence - 6
• Agility - 2
• Luck – 4

Players must note that it is essential for a character to have a little bit of all the SPECIAL stats. The game mechanics and the elements of the game will be affected only when it comes to what SPECIAL stats is needed and how much.

Players will have the chance to earn extra SPECIAL points and unlock extra specific perks when they use these character stats in the game, the report noted.

Players must focus on bettering the Charisma and Intelligence stats, as they help in hacking restricted areas and opening new dialogue options.

To better a character's Lockpicking skills, Perception stats must be increased.

Once the character is ready to head into the game, it completely relies on the player and his/her style. The usage of companions must be according to the SPECIAL stats of the character.
