Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil was injured during the shooting of a stunt sequence for his upcoming film "Maheshinte Prathikaram" in Cheruthoni in Idukki.

The incident happened when Fahadh's co-star Sujith mistakenly hit him on his leg. Even though doctors advised him to take rest for two days, latest reports suggest that Fahadh has resumed the shoot as the film has a tight schedule.

Earlier, during the shooting of "Money Ratnam", Fahadh had suffered head injuries and was immediately taken to a private hospital in Kochi.

In the upcoming Dileesh Pothan directorial, Fahadh will be seen as a photographer, who owns a small studio in Idukki. The film focuses on the concept of love and revenge. An unexpected incident that he comes across during one of his photography works forms the crux of the film.

Director Dileesh has been active in Malayalam industry and has worked as an associate director. He has acted in "Salt N' Pepper", "22 Female Kottayam", "Da Thadiya", "5 Sundarikal" and "Gangster". He was last seen onscreen in Fahadh's hit film "Iyobinte Pusthakam" in 2014.

"Maheshinte Prathikaram" is produced by Aashiq Abu under the banner of OPM Dream Mill Cinemas.
