A social media post shared by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut sparked controversy after he uploaded a photograph purportedly showing Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke.
The image quickly gained traction on X before being deleted by Raut amid growing criticism and questions over its authenticity. Several users on social media claimed the photograph appeared to be artificially generated or digitally manipulated.
As per various media reports, the image was fake and generated using artificial intelligence. No official records, photographs, statements, or public disclosures have surfaced to confirm that Prime Minister Modi ever met Dipke.
The image shared by Raut was posted without supporting details or context, prompting users to seek verification. As scrutiny intensified, the post was removed from his account. While Raut did not publicly explain the deletion, it came shortly after users began questioning the image's credibility.

The controversy also triggered a wave of responses online, with several users creating and sharing alleged AI-generated images depicting Dipke alongside Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray. Critics argued that such examples demonstrated how easily manipulated visuals can be produced and circulated on social media platforms.
Who is Abhijeet Dipke?
Abhijeet Dipke is the founder of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), a satirical movement that emerged online amid controversies surrounding examination irregularities. Over time, the group evolved into a broader protest platform focusing on education-related issues.
The organisation recently held a demonstration at Jantar Mantar and has announced plans for a larger protest on June 20. Among its key demands are greater accountability in the examination system and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

At present, there is no verified evidence that Prime Minister Modi met Dipke. The viral photograph does not establish such a meeting, and no official confirmation has emerged. Until credible evidence is produced, the claim remains unverified and should be treated with caution.
