Young Korean heartthrob and EXO member Chanyeol, who was in Shanghai for a scheduled program, requested his fans to avoid dangerous situations and show their support to him by guaranteeing safety to others.

The Kpop star wrote a personal message to his followers on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, after he witnessed a set of Chinese fans chasing him in cars causing harm to others.  "I'm writing is because I experienced a very dangerous situation while I was in Shanghai. After thinking about it several times, I decided to write this message," he wrote.

Through the post, Chanyeol revealed that around 20 cars were following him from the airport blocking the roads and damaging parked cars. Although he was not injured, the young singer said that it was really disturbing to see his admirers causing problems for others to show their love. So, he urged his fans to support him in a way that will guarantee safety to others.

However, this is not the first time Chanyeol is being attacked by his Chinese fans. In August, he was hurt by a water bottle on stage during EXO'luXion concert in Chengdu, China.

Here is the complete translation of Chanyeol 's Weibo post (via Allkpop):

The reason I'm writing this is because there was a very dangerous event that I experienced in Shanghai. After thinking about it several times, I decided to write this message.

After I arrived in Shanghai, and left the airport and was entering the city, about 20 vehicles were continuously following the car I was in. These cars blocked the road, and changed lanes all in a row on the expressway to block our car and nearly caused accidents on several occasions.

There were a lot of cars that were parked on the road that we drove on, so the people following our car were interfering with street passage.I personally like China. During my schedule in Shanghai, I was able to meet a lot of people and I was so happy. But to have this kind of a dangerous thing happen on a superhighway is not right.

From now on, I hope you all will not hinder other people and will support us in a way where you can personally guarantee your own safety.
