The first season of Bigg Boss Marathi has come to an end. In a glittering grand finale on Sunday, July 22, 2018, contestant Megha Dhade was declared the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 1 by host Mahesh Manjrekar. The actress beat Pushkar Jog, an actor and another favourite to win the contest, as well as actress Smita Gondkar who also has a fair share of fans.
After the grand finale in the Bigg Boss Marathi house in Lonavala, Megha Dhade returned to Mumbai victorious and spoke to select media. International Business Times, India got an exclusive video chat with Megha Dhade, where she spoke about her win, her co-contestants, her stay inside the house and also her future plans.
Here are excerpts from the interview with Megha Dhade where she talks about her most memorable moments on Bigg Boss Marathi and also how thrilling it was for her to stay in the house.
When Megha Dhade spoke about the fun times she had inside the Bigg Boss Marathi Season 1 house, we asked about her most memorable moment. The fiery contestant told us about not one but three most memorable moments inside the Bigg Boss Marathi Season 1 house.
"My most memorable moment in the Bigg Boss Marathi house was when I was first made the captain," says Megha Dhade. "And (suddenly recalls with a twinkle in her eye) another moment was memorable for me - I celebrated my birthday inside the house! It falls on May 22 and it was my wish that my birthday should be celebrated inside the Bigg Boss house, and it was fulfilled."
"The third most memorable moment for me in Bigg Boss Marathi was when in the end my entire journey inside the house was replayed before my eyes by Bigg Boss. Looking at the clippings, I patted myself on the back, 'Wah beta, shabash! Acchha kiya tumne.' (Well done). That was one proud moment for me."
It must've been difficult to survive inside the house for 100 days, and win the show, we asked. To which, Megha replied, "Of course, it was difficult. The journey was very thrilling, and Megha is a girl who loves to have thrill in life! I feel life gets boring if it's running on just one track. So, I have had many lovely moments inside the Bigg Boss Marathi house along with the other contestants."
Megha Dhade revealed that it was a dream come true for her to enter the Bigg Boss house and go on to win it. She also denies that she went in with a strategy to win the show, saying that if you are true to yourself, people will like you and vote for you to win.
