Actress Mandira Bedi, known for bringing glamour to cricket shows in the country, has added a new feather to her cap by becoming a fashion designer. She opened her own store on Saturday, showcasing saris designed by herself.
The 41-year-old television actress and presenter launched her line of saris earlier this month, before opening her exclusive store in Mumbai.
Producer and director Karan Johar was the guest of honour at the event and he inaugurated the store by lighting the lamp. Several celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Sophie Choudry, Arbaaz Khan, Mini Mathur, Ashish Chaudhary, R Madhavan and others attended the launch function.
"Sorry for flooding your timeline. My signature Sari store launched yesterday (Saturday). Am overwhelmed! The doors of the store open today! Come," Mandira tweeted on Sunday.
"Mandira Bedi's store. Ashrey Bldg, corner of 13th & 18th road, (the lane of Fab India) Khar. Pl come by.. see the Sarees I have designed. :)" she added.
