Euro 2016 is and France is all set to take on Romania in the opening game of the European Championships.

The players somehow get superstitious ahead of such big-ticket tournaments as they wait for four years for this phase. And to get their hands on the trophy is nothing less than a dream for them.

However, Spain did not allow anybody in the last two Euro Cups as they ruled the roost. They will be looking to lift the trophy for the third time in a row.

Thus, Alvaro Morata cut his hair ahead of the tournament. Not only that, he let his fellow teammate Sergio Ramos to do the job.

According to Morata, the Real Madrid defender cut his hair two years ago and he started scoring goals. Morata wants to put on his goal-scoring shoes in Euro 2016 and help his team yield positive results.

"Sergio cut my hair two years ago, and after that I started to score goals; he, too. We're superstitious, and we decided to repeat this ceremony. We hope that it will bring us good luck [at Euro 2016, which will kick off Friday in France]," Morata was quoted as saying by News.am.

Ramos even posted a video of him cutting Morata's hair on Instagram.
