Romania will look to pick up three crucial points from their Group A encounter of Euro 2016 against Albania in order to stay afloat in the tournament in Lyon on Sunday. Romania drew their last game against Switzerland and on the other hand, Albania suffered a loss against France.

Romania now face a do-or-die situation as this is their last chance to make it to the round of 16 of Euro 2016. Albania, too, have a chance to go into the knockout stage as one of the third-place teams, if they manage to register a victory against Romania on Sunday.

Albania have lost both their games against France and Switzerland prior to this match. They, too, face a make-or-break situation as they face Romania in their last match of Group A in Euro 2016.

Romania midfielder Mihai Pintilii and defender Razvan Rat are doubtful for the Albania clash as they are nursing minor injuries. Their fitness will be assessed ahead of the start of the match.

Bogdan Stancu, who scored against France in the opening match of Euro 2016, is expected to shake off the minor niggle he has been carrying for two days. Stancu is also expected to start against Albania on Sunday in Lyon.

Romania will also have to be careful about a number of players who have already been booked once in Euro 2016. Vlad Chiriches, Adrian Popa and Rat will miss the next game if booked against Albania, if at all Romania make it to the knockout stage of Euro 2016.

Lorik Cana may get back to the starting XI after the Albania skipper was suspended during their match against Switzerland. Sokol Cikalleshi could get his first start of Euro 2016. Midfielder Taulant Xhaka is likely to retain his place in the starting XI as well.

Possible starting XI:

Romania: Tatarusanu; Sapunaru, Chiriches, Grigore, Rat; Prepelita, Pintilii; Torje, Stancu, Chipciu; Keseru.

Albania: Berisha; Hysaj, Ajeti, Mavraj, Agolli; Kukeli; Lila, Abrashi, Memushaj, Lenjani; Sadiku.
