Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's marriage has once again been plagued by divorce rumors. Buzz suggests that "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara, post her split from Nick Loeb, is creating problems between the married couple.

Apparently, de Rossi is not fond of Vergara and DeGeneres' growing closeness.

"Portia always resented Ellen's friendship with Sofia, and now that Sofia is leaning on Ellen for support, she's even more jealous," reported the print edition of Ok! magazine, according to Inquisitr.

On the other hand, it is being suggested that the rumor is strange as Vergara is straight and has just gotten out of a relationship with a man. So there seems minute possibility of the fact that de Rossi is jealous of Vergara's friendship with DeGeneres.

But this is not the first time that DeGeneres and de Rossi's marraige has been plagued by divorce rumors. Speculations have been rife for months that the couple who tied the knot in 2008 has tried everything including couple's counseling to save their marriage. Various reports have suggested that de Rossi's struggle with alcohol is the cause of the problem while other rumors say that DeGeneres is attracted towards younger women as de Rossi has started looking old, said Guardianlv.

"Portia will try any new trick to retain her looks and keep Ellen attracted to her. She spends thousands on luxury facial creams and beauty products," the website quoted a source.

What had added more to the rumors of their troubled marriage is one of the pictures of de Rossi, where she was seen sans the wedding ring.

Despite so many rumors doing the rounds, DeGeneres took a brave front and suggested in an interview that she is very much in love with de Rossi.

"The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time," the 2014 Oscar host told the People. "It's what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We're really lucky because we know how rare it is."

She further hinted that if she ever faces marriage troubles, she would be the first one to announce it.

"There's not one ounce of truth to any of it. I am very happily married. The only thing we ever argue about is who loves who more, it really is true," she added.
