New Delhi, Oct 15 (ANI): Election Commission on Wednesday held a press conference and briefed about the assembly elections which were held in Haryana and Maharashtra. ECI deputy election commissioner Sudhir Tripathi said that the voter turnout in Maharashtra till 5 pm was recorded at 54.5%. He added that the voter turnout percentage is likely to be increased upto 62% till voting time ends. Another deputy election commissioner Umesh Sinha said that Haryana had the highest voter turnout ever in the assembly elections reaching around 73%.
