Television heartthrob Siddhant Karnick, who wooed the audience with his charm as Ranaji on period love drama "Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani," seems to have found love. The actor is rumoured to be dating actress Megha Gupta.

Megha, who was last seen on "Dream Girl," and Siddhant have been in a relationship for quite some time now, Tellychakkar.com reported. The couple has also been sharing their pictures on social media pages, which hint at a budding relationship. Siddhant shared a picture of him and Megha on Twitter along with a caption that read: "That feeling when you know the rest of your life is going to be the best of your life." Megha too posted the same picture on Instagram with a love-filled caption.

Meanwhile, Siddhant's journey on the show came to an end recently with the death of his character Ranaji. Soon after, "Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani" took a generation leap and is currently revolving around Ranaji and Gayatri's (Drashti Dhami) children. Child artistes Sagar Hingonia and Mahima Joshi are playing the role of young Raja and Rani respectively, after the time jump.

Talking about leaving the show in just nine months since its inception, Siddhant told the Hindustan Times that he never intended to work on a show for many years. "I felt good in a way. I didn't want to work on one serial for several years. Leaving the show was a bittersweet feeling, as I became good friends with Drashti (Dhami), and a few others on the set," the actor said.

Talking about reports of him being reluctant about playing the role of a father after the leap he said, "I wasn't given an option. But even if I would have been asked, I don't think I would have done the role. Playing a husband was hard enough, so playing a dad would have been tougher. I am not even married yet (laughs). I have always preferred finite shows, as one doesn't get redundant playing the same role."
