Ludhiana, April 23 (ANI): The Election Commission organized a vintage car rally on Wednesday as part of its election awareness drive in Ludhiana city of Punjab to encourage voters to cast their ballot during the ongoing mammoth general elections. The participants held flags and shouted slogans to spread awareness among the voters to exercise their franchise. Meanwhile, an onlooker, Ramneet Kaur, called it a novel idea to motivate people to turn out in huge numbers on voting day. The elections to choose members to the 543-seat Lok Sabha are spread over five weeks in nine separate phases and will end on May 12. Results would be announced on May 16.
