"EA Sports UFC 2," the mixed martial arts fighting video game from EA that is only available on consoles like PS4 and Xbox One, will be released on March 15, 2016.
EA had promised that the game will have over 250 fighters, making it the largest roster in a fighting game until now.
This game will feature new Knockout Physics System, a physics-driven hit reaction and knockout system. It will also feature dynamic grappling that will initiate a Grapple Assist HUD on the screen during take down. Both the fighters can independently transition from each other, due to the Independent Grappling Control.
It will also have Next-Level Submissions that will add the element of surprise via the New Takedown Counters and the new Defencive Transition Escapes, and Submission Chaining will add fluidity to the game.
The game will see what it calls "Ultimate Defence" by providing greater control over the fighter's head movements with new 360° Head Movement that will allow them to slip and dodge rival attacks.
The game also introduces hair physics and improved strike deformation work. It also has KO Mode, Practice Mode, UFC Ultimate Team, Custom Event Creator, Online Championships, Live Events and Create a Fighter.
