E3 2015: A New Prince of Persia Game on the Cards for Ubisoft?

In what has been considered as a probable leak from a voice actor, a new Prince of Persia game from Ubisoft has been revealed ahead of the upcoming E3 2015.

The leak was from Robin Atkin Downes, a voice actor who took to Twitter to say that he was looking forward to Prince of Persia and George Washington.

Downes is a well-known actor who has previously been involved in various other video games too. He was also the voice of the Prince in 2004's Price of Persia: Warrior Within video game.  His long association with the franchise might make him privy to some details on what Ubisoft is working on.

The last major Prince of Persia game came out in 2010 titled Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, which was an HD remake of 1993 mobile game, Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame. This game was released in 2013. There has not been even a single major title of Prince of Persia since the 2010 game and none since the arrival of the next-generation gaming consoles – PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Fans would certainly love to see a new Prince of Persia game at E3 2015. So with Fallout 4 being announced out of the blue, can fans hope for a surprise from Ubisoft too? Only time will tell. 

Meanwhile, Ubisoft has confirmed some of the games it will be showing at E3 namely, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, The Division and Rainbow Six Siege.
