Microsoft went into E3 2015 knowing that they needed to build on last years successes, presenting a solid line-up of exclusives and giving gamers a reason to be excited for the future.
Halo 5: Guardians and Rise of the Tomb Raider had gameplay demos shown for the first time ahead of their releases later this year, while new titles featured in the form of Recore from Megaman creator Keiji Inafune, Sea of Thieves from Rare and Gears of War 4 from The Coalition
Hololens was demoed with Minecraft and Microsoft also announced VR partnerships and a number of closer ties to PC gaming. IBTimes UK video game correspondent Ben Skipper rounds up and gives his thoughts on the show.
