The first look poster of Dulquer Salmaan and Rajeev Ravi's upcoming movie "Kammatipaadam" was released Wednesday, Feb. 2, by the actor on his Facebook page.
The first look poster of "Kammatipaadam" features Dulquer Salmaan. "And here is the first look of "Kammatipaadam" ! Rajeevettan (Rajeev Ravi) is one of the finest film makers we have and it's been my great honour to work with him. Cannot wait for this to come out ! — with Rajeev Ravi, Global United Media and Kammatipaadam," wrote Dulquer on his Facebook page. Shaun Romy has been paired opposite the "Charlie" actor in the movie, which is set in the 80s.
"‪#‎RajeevRavi‬ & ‪#‎DulquerSalmaan‬ starrer first look will be out this evening by 6:00PM," the movie's production company GUM had posted on the Facebook page earlier in the day.
"Kammatipaadam" is one of the most anticipated films in Malayalam as it is the third directorial venture of National Film Award winning cinematographer Rajeev after his movies "Annayum Rasoolum" and "Njan Steve Lopez." It is being scripted by P Balachandran, who is known for movies such as "Ivan Megharoopan," "Thacholi Varghese Chekavar," "Pavithram," "Ulladakkam" and "Uncle Bun." The movie also has Vinay Forrt, Vinayakan and Shine Tom Chacko in siginificant roles and is expected to hit screens in May 2016.
Meanwhile, Dulquer, who has won the State Award for Best Actor for his performance in "Charlie," has a handful of upcoming projects, including Sameer Thahir's "Kali," followed by the projects of Amal Neerad, Prathap Pothen and Anoop Sathyan.
