Rarely does a film show growth at the box office during weekdays, but Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer "Drishyam" is one of them. "Drishyam", directed by Nishikanth Kamat, has shown more than 10% jump in its collection at the box office on Tuesday.

Monday's box office collection of "Drishyam" was Rs 4.05 crore and adding 11% more to that income is Tuesday's earnings.

The five days total of Ajay-Tabu starrer "Drishyam" now stands at Rs 38.58 crore.

"#Drishyam has further garnered a steady amount of Rs 4.05 Crores on Monday and Rs 4.50 crores on Tuesday making a total of Rs 38.58 Crore," trade analyst Joginder Tuteja tweeted.

The thriller drama is now inching towards the Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic box office.

The film is gaining momentum at the box office mostly due to positive response. Not only Bollywood celebrities, but critics and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also praised the movie.

Meanwhile, the lead actor Ajay tweeted about the response "Drishyam" has received.

"Very satisfied with the response that Drishyam is getting, one of the rare films that gets you collections as well as respect as an actor," Ajay tweeted.

The film, which also stars Shriya Saran, is produced by Viacom18 and Kumar Mangat.
