"Dragon Ball Super," the popular anime TV show from Toei Animation, aired episode 40, titled "Conclusion at Last! Is Beerus the Winner? Or is it Shanpa?" on April 24, exclusively on Japanese Fuji TV.

The current theme of the anime show is the Champa saga, where the team of Champa and that of Beerus have squared off in the multiverse tournament, dubbed Universe 6 vs. Universe 7.

Episode 39 saw Goku taking the lead against Hit, and with the former mastering a new technique that was a mixture of the Kaioken technique and Super Saiyan Blue's power, he is seen getting a red and blue aura. But we do not know the result of Goku's aggressive ki blast that landed on Hit, for which we had to wait for episode 40.

Meanwhile, in the recent episode 40, the match between Goku and Hit continues and gets intense as it progresses. The battle gets so intense that Vados and Whis have to step in to protect the rest of the fighters and viewers from being injured, Attack of the Fanboy said in its review.

Hit warns Goku that he has got better in his time-lapse technique. He boasts that the technique is now stronger with the fight geting dragged on longer.

Meanwhile, Goku is unable to sustain his new form for longer duration and he is seen getting muscle pains. Also his body is not reciprocating properly.

On the other hand, Champa, the head of Universe 6, wants Hit to use all the unfair techniques to defeat Goku, but Hit does not want to do it, as he prefers to have a fair game against Goku.

The two are seen powering up, with Hit using his time-lapse technique and Goku going in for the combo attack that had been successful against Hit previously. Goku might just be losing out to Hit as he powers up to punch Hit on the face and Hit is seen falling on a portrait of Champa.

According to the report, this is the point where both the fighters are tired and any one of them could soon lose to the other. But Goku somehow gets a strange feeling that Hit is holding his powers back, and wants the no-killing rule to go. Goku is more interested to see what hidden powers Hit has, and in the event of his death, someone can always use the Namekian Dragon Balls to revive him.

This makes Champa happy as he knows Goku will be defeated, but Beerus has the opposite feeling as he does not want Goku to lose.

A very strange and unthinkable thing happens next, Goku and Hit realise that they are puppets of Champa and Beerus, and these both leaders of the teams start fighting each other, in the mayhem. Next, Goku does something no one imagined, he willingly steps out of the ring. Goku was tired fighting Hit and thinks that the next guy from Universe 7, Monaka, is capable fighter.

Hit is declared the winner. But Goku does not know that Monaka is not a strong fighter, moreover, he did not expect himself to fight in the tournament at all.

We see Beerus is angry with Goku, but lucky for Monaka, Hit lets him punch his face and steps out of the ring, eliminating him instantly.

Next we see an angry Champa wanting to kill Hit, and Goku wants to stop, but Beerus advices him on how Universe 6 has its own set of rules.

To everyone's surprise, a new character Zeno drops into this tournament that has seen some serious battles between the best fighters. Zeno is the ruler of all the 12 universes in Dragon Ball Super. His presence at the event shocks even the likes of Champa and Beerus, and the episode ends here.

Meanwhile, Toei Animation has shared the preview of episode 41, titled "Come Forth, God of Dragons, And Grant My Wish, Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!"

The preview video shows Goku observing the change in emotion of both Champa and Beerus, who are seen getting nervous when the "tiny" Zeno shows up. Goku underestimates Zeno as not being strong.

Moreover someone also says that they should think of a wish as an image of seven Super Dragon Balls is seen in front of the fighters. A later part of the video shows a huge yellow dragon-like creature in the TV show.
