Without so much as a warning, let alone promotion, One Direction just dropped their latest single "Drag Me Down".
Marking the first time they have made music since Zayn Malik left to make "real music" with Naughty Boy, "Drag Me Down" is available on iTunes. The release in fact comes a day after Malik signed on with RCA to launch his solo career.
The boys had said that following Malik's departure, the band is looking for a reinvention of their collective personality. The song is definitely sounding more mature than their older tracks.
