New Delhi, Nov 11(ANI): BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate for New Delhi Dr. Harshvardhan on Monday defended himself after the Congress approached the Election Commission complaining that he had made distorted claims on polio eradication. Dr. Harshvardhan said that he actively participated in the Polio eradication programme and received many awards for it. The Congress is demanding cancellation of his nomination alleging that he has made wrong claims on polio eradication when he was the union health minister in Atal Behari Vajpayee's cabinet.
