'Diya Aur Baati Hum': Sandhya, Suraj to Share Screen Space with Abhishek Bachchan?

Star Plus show "Diya Aur Baati Hum" that has been revolving around Kabaddi track for quite sometime now, is likely to have Abhishek Bachchan on board for a special episode.

The actor is said to appear on the show to promote his Kabaddi team Jaipur Pink Panthers, a franchise of the Pro-Kabaddi League, the second edition of which is going to start soon.

In the first edition of Pro Kabaddi League that was held last year, Pink Panthers emerged as the winners defeating U Mumba.

Abhishek is currently in talks with the show-makers, however, no confirmation has been made regarding the same, reported IANS.

Meanwhile, on the show, Suraj's (Anas Rashid) team is gearing up for a tough fight at the semi-finals. In the upcoming episodes, Suraj will be severely injured during the match. Sandhya (Deepika Singh) along with the kids, who were present to cheer for his team, will be seen getting worried. However, Suraj will manage to get back on his feet and put his heart and soul to win the match.

On the other hand, in the Rathi house, Sandhya is in support with Chhavi and Zakir's budding relationship. However, Chhavi is hesitant to move forward as she believes that her parents would never support her getting married to a person from a different religion.
