Developer Arkane Studios has announced that the stealth action-adventure video game, Dishonored's jump to Xbox One and PS4 consoles as the Dishonored: Definitive Edition will bring joy to original copy holders.

It said that players who owned the original digital copy, which was released in 2012, need not play the full price and they will get it at a discounted price.

The remastered version of Dishonored is currently available for pre-order on PlayStation Store and Xbox Games Store. So, the owners of the original copy will be able to grab the game for $19.99 on PS4 and $20 on Xbox One, reduced from $39.99.

This deal is also eligible for players who got the game via PS Plus or Xbox Games With Gold. Though it was reported that the game was already available for North America, it will be released for Europe also.

The remastered version will have better graphics and will include all the DLCs.

The game allows players to play as an assassin with missions that focus mainly on stealth, combat or both. It follows the story of Corvo Attano, bodyguard to the Empress of the Isles, and is set in the industrial city of Dunwall, a fictional city that is infested with plague.

Dishonored: Definitive Edition will be released on 25 August, 2015 in North America and 28 August in Europe for PS4 and Xbox One platforms.

Though Arkane Studios released a trailer for Dishonored 2 at the E3 2015, the game might not roll out until early 2016.
