Bhubaneshwar. Aug 09 (ANI): Director General of Police, Sanjeev Marik, visited Malkangiri district in Odisha on Saturday to review the security measures and suggest new strategies for anti-Maoist operations in the area. Marik met the chiefs of Border Security Force (BSF) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to discuss new strategies. Marik is a recently appointed DGP and after taking over this responsibility this was his first visit to Odisha. He said that they are trying to analyze their weaknesses and strengths so that strategies could be set accordingly to intensify anti Maoist operations. The strategy of Maoists is that they operate in two-three states at the same time. Maoists commit a crime in one zone and shift their base to another so that there is no pressure on them.
