Shah Rukh Khan's "Dilwale" has witnessed a significant drop of around 50% at the box office on its fourth day, i.e. Monday.

Rohit Shetty's directorial film collected only Rs 10.09 crore on Monday. The fourth day's business is 50 percent lower than its opening day business and is also lower than "Bajirao Mastani" Monday box office collection. "Dilwale" four-day box office collection stands at Rs 75.18 crore.

"#Dilwale declines 50%+ on Mon from Fri. Fri 21 cr, Sat 20.09 cr, Sun 24 cr, Mon 10.09 cr. Total: ₹ 75.18 cr. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

"#BajiraoMastani had a SOLID Mon [10% to 15% decline from Fri]. Fri 12.80 cr, Sat 15.52 cr, Sun 18.45 cr, Mon 10.25 cr. Total: ₹ 57.02 cr," he added.

"Dilwale" has earned Rs 75.18 crore and now it needs to remain constant to earn Rs 100 crore in its first week run.

Trade analysts believe that the clash – Bajirao Mastani vs Dilwale – has affected both the movies at the box office. "Dilwale" alone could have raked in decent money from its box office run.

"Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani's cumulative collection has stormed the box office with an estimated domestic business of Rs 109 crore in the first three days. However, if these films had released on different dates, Dilwale would have shattered the record set by Chennai Express in 2013," Independent distributor and box office analyst Suniel Wadhwa told Business Standard.

"Dilwale" box office collection is approximately 35 percent lower than "Chennai Express" opening weekend, while "Bajirao Mastani" earning is eight percent less in the opening weekend than "Ram Leela", according to Business Standard.

The opening weekend collection is already affected, but it remains to be seen how both the films will perform in the coming week.

"Dilwale" directed by Shetty, features Shah Rukh, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.
