Shah Rukh Khan's wife has been with him in all his ups and downs, but you will be surprised to know she was not happy about the success of the actor's debut movie.

SRK had made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with the film Deewana. The movie was a hit, and since then there has been no looking back for Shah Rukh.

However, his wife Gauri was disappointed with the success of his debut movie. According to a report in Cosmopolitan, Gauri herself once said that she did not want Shah Rukh to become a movie star permanently, and hence she was unhappy about the success of his debut film.

The same report further stated that Shah Rukh had initially planned to feature in 3-4 films, and then return to Delhi to look after his ailing mother. However, the actor's rapid success made him change his plan.

On the work front, Shah Rukh was recently seen in the movie Zero that also featured Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Although it was one of the most anticipated movies of 2018, the film failed to impress the audience.

The actor is set to start shooting for his upcoming movie Saare Jahan Se Accha, which is a biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma.
