Karan Patel aka Raman Bhalla of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" often makes headlines for the wrong reasons. Recently, there were reports of the actor losing his temper when asked to shoot a rain sequence, and now he has reportedly landed in a heated argument with Neeraj Baliyan, the director of the show, over creative issues.

The buzz is that Karan had suggested an idea to the director for a particular shot, to which the latter responded by asking him not to interfere in his work, Tellychakkar.com reported. This didn't go down well with Karan and the two apparently got involved in a heated argument. The fight intensified and the two were on the verge of hitting each other. Fortunately, the crew members intervened and stopped the fight. Soon after, Karan barged out of the sets and refused to shoot.

The report further said that the incident made the show's lead actress Divyanka Tripathi wait for a long time until things got sorted out between Karan and the director and the shoot resumed. However, Karan took to his Twitter handle to refute the report.

In other news, Karan recently made headlines when his ex-girlfriend Kamya Punjabi openly expressed her love for the actor at the Box Cricket League 2 (BCL 2), thereby raising quite a few eyebrows. The actress even went on to hug Karan for his team's excellent performance, which left the actor blushing.

Later, when asked about Kamya's shocking behaviour, Karan told the Times of India that the two are not even really good friends. "I respect people's feelings when they say they love me, but it is completely their choice of expression and I am alien to it. People have a right to express but that's it. Whatever I may have said in reply was only in the show's context and nothing else. Kamya and I bump into each other at social dos or at work and we exchange greetings with a smile. That's where it ends. We are not the best of friends," Karan had told the daily.
