Rajinikanth is considered to be one of the biggest superstars of Indian entertainment industry and the success of "Kabali" suggests the same. But veteran actor Nana Patekar apparently thinks otherwise.

Rajinikanth fans consider him as the biggest superstar and they throng to watch his movies, irrespective of the reviews and the film's plot. Even "Kabali" had received many negative reviews as most of the critics had praised Rajinikanth's star presence in the film but disliked the story.

Nevertheless, the movie "Kabali" has been doing excellent business at the box office. During a media interaction, Nana was asked by a newsman about Rajinikanth being the biggest superstar in India and the actor said that it is a film's plot that is the biggest superstar. He also said that even a newcomer can offer a big hit if the story of a movie is good.

"I think film is the biggest superstar. If your film's story is nice and well narrated, then even new kids' movies run well. But if it's just about the star, then the movie will run for the first 2-3 days and if the story is not upto the mark, it will eventually fail," said Nana.

The movie "Kabali" was released on July 22 and had registered a record-breaking opening day collection worldwide. It had received overwhelming advance booking response and most of the shows went housefull on day one.

The introductory scene of the Rajinikanth starrer was leaked online before its release and that had apparently made fans even more tempted to watch the movie.
