Urvashi Rautela was supposed to walk the ramp at recently held Dubai Fashion Week but the actress reportedly ditched the organisers at the last minute.
It has been reported that the "Great Grand Masti" actress turned up for a different event that had offered her more money and did not even inform the organisers of Dubai Fashion Week about her backing out from the show.
"Urvashi Rautela was supposed to walk at Dubai Fashion Week held last week, but the actress backed out from the show at the 11th hour. Despite the ticket bookings and prior commitments, Urvashi chose another event at a bigger price. In fact, the actress didn't even inform the designer that she was backing out," Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.
However, Urvashi's spokesperson denied the rumour and instead put the blame on the designer, alleging the latter of spreading rumours in order to get publicity. "Nothing of this sort happened. We are sure that the designer must have done this purposely for the sake of publicity," the report quoted her spokesperson as saying.
Urvashi had featured in the adult comedy "Great Grand Masti" in which she was seen playing the character of a "sizzling ghost." The film could not make an impact at the box office and one of the reasons for the film's failure is being believed to be its online leak before getting released.
Directed by Inder Kumar, the film also featured Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani.
