RS Durai Senthil Kumar has written and directed Kodi.Sony Music South Twitter Account

The audio and trailer of Dhanush's Kodi were released on Wednesday, October 5. The makers had organised a formal event to unveil the music, while the trailer of the Tamil movie was directly released online.


Kodi album consists of five songs for which Santhosh Narayanan has composed music. Dhanush, Arunraja Kamaraj, Vijaynarain, KS Chitra, Anand Aravindakshan, Swetha Mohan and Shankar Mahadevan have lent their voices for the tracks.

Vivek has penned the numbers and Dhanush and Arunraja Kamaraj have jointly written a song. Santhosh Narayanan has churned out a few good tracks and 'Kodi Parakkudha' and 'Ei Zuzhali' numbers are getting positive words from music lovers.


Coming to the trailer, the original plan to release the trailer at 7 pm went for a change due to some technical issues and finally, it was released after making the fans wait with bated breath for over 90 minutes.

The trailer gives an outline of the overall content in Kodi. Dhanush will be seen in mass avatars and mouths lot of catchy one-liners, which have caught the attention of the viewers. The video also gives a hint at Trisha Krishnan having a powerful role. She is likely to do a negative character in the movie.

Political thriller Kodi is written and directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar of Ethir Neechal and Kakki Sattai fame. Dhanush will be seen in a dual role and would romance Trisha Krishnan and Anupama Parameswaran in the upcoming flick.

Kaali Venkat, Subbu Panchu, Vinu Mohan, Sathish and others are in the cast. Ilayathalapathy Vijay's father SA Chandrasekhar will be seen in a special role. The Tamil flick has Santhosh Narayanan's music, Praveen KL's editing and Venkatesh S has handled cinematography for the upcoming Tamil flick, which will hit the screens during Diwali festival.
