Tamil actor Dhanush, who made his Bollywood debut a few years ago, is now set to make his fans proud by working in a Hollywood film. The multifaceted personality is game for the international film where he will share screen space with Uma Thurman and Alexandra Daddario.

Dhanush is entering Hollywood with the upcoming film "The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Cupboard" reported The Times of India.  Iranian-French director Marjane Satrapi, who is known for his animated movie "Persepolis", will be directing the film and Uma Thurman and Alexandra Daddario will appear in key roles. 

The film is said to be based on a book of the same name, written by Romain Puertolas. Dhanush will be seen in the role of Aja, who comes to Paris on a secret mission and also plays a conjurer from a forgotten Indian colony of artists, adds the daily. The shooting of the film will reportedly begin in the second half of 2016 and the movie will be shot in India, France and Italy.

In the recent years, many Indian actors including Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan, Sonu Sood, Anil Kapoor and Om Puri have been a part of Hollywood films. 

Dhanush is currently busy with his much-hyped film "Kodi", written and directed by RS Durai and Senthil Kumar. He has been paired up with Trisha Krishnan and Shamili, the sister of actress Shalini Ajith Kumar. The film is being shot at a brisk pace and the film will be released in mid-2016.

Dhanush is also expected to take up his long-pending "Vada Chennai", which is written and directed by Vetrimaran, this year.
