Tamil actor Dhanush is the latest actor to praise Bollywood movie "Sultan." The actor took to Twitter to say some good words about the recently-released Hindi movie, which stars Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.

"LOVED SULTAN - salman Khan Ji and Anushka Sharma deserve many many accolades for this one. Brilliant. Just brilliant. [sic]" Dhanush posted. He has now joined the long list of celebrities who have appreciated the Salman Khan-starrer.

Karan Johar, Kabir Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Huma Qureshi, Dia Mirza, Nikhil Dwivedi and Subhash Ghai are some of the notable names from Bollywood who have loved Salman Khan's "Sultan."

"Sultan" was released on July 6 in 5,450 screens worldwide and it had seen the light of the day in 4,350 screens in India alone. The Hindi movie, which is on a record-smashing spree at the box office, has grossed over Rs. 500 crore at the global box office.

The 12-day domestic gross income is pegged at Rs. 365.60 crore and the overseas box office collection accumulates to Rs. 136 crore.

"Sultan," which has Meiyang Chang, Amit Sadh, Kumud Mishra and others in the cast as well, is written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The strong content, backed with electrifying performance of the artistes, have won the hearts of the audience across the globe. 

Dhanush busy with multiple projects

Dhanush will be seen next in forthcoming Tamil movie "Kodi," which is written and directed by Senthil Kumar. This project is expected to be out in August. He is also working on Gautham Menon's "Yennai Nokki Payum Thotta," which will hit the screens later this year.

The "Kolaveri Di" hitmaker has recently started filming Vetrimaaran's next film "Vada Chennai," which revolves around gang wars of North Chennai.
