Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 16 (ANI): Devotees in Kerala visited temples, marking the end of celebrations of the harvest festival 'Onam' in Thiruvananthapuram with utmost gusto on Monday. There was a huge rush of devotees seen in the morning hours at Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple and the temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha in Thiruvananthapuram. Onam is marked with varied festivities, including women performing assorted dance performances and men playing musical instruments to celebrate the auspicious occasion. The 10-day long harvest festival celebrations begin every year with Aathachamayam (The Royal Parade on Aatham Day) in Thripunithara.
