Aside the wonderful and addictive experience that is Destiny's recently released The Taken King expansion, what attracts us more is the kind of exotic weapons currently up for grabs for all Guardians. And one such exotic is the Tlaloc Exotic Scout Rifle.
As far as the exotic is concerned, only Warlocks can use the Tlaloc Exotic and you will need to complete a host of objectives in order to obtain it, although there is no random loot drop for the item. To start with, you will have to go to the Tower and speak to the Gunsmith, otherwise known as Banshee-44.
Destiny The Taken King – Get Tlaloc Exotic Scout Rifle
First of all, you will have to make sure that you have reached Gunsmith Rank 3 before pursuing the weapon. Once that is there, you will have access to a new mission called 'Back in the Saddle' and will have to talk to Banshee-44 to pick up the mission.
The best way to reach Gunsmith Rank 3 is to test out whatever weapons that are on offer. It's better if you visit Banshee-44 on every Armsday (Wednesday) when he refreshes his stock.
As mentioned earlier, when Gunsmith Rank 3 is achieved, you will have access to a new mission called 'Back in the Saddle.' For that, talk to Banshee-44 to pick up the mission. The mission tasks you to kill 100 enemies with a Scout Rifle with the Primary Telemetry consumable still being active.
Once that is done, head to Orbit and travel wherever you want to go. When you reach your destination, just activate the Primary Telemetry and kill some aliens.
There will probably be four groups of enemies nearby, and you will have to get through the location, killing as many enemies as possible.
After killing 100 enemies, head to the Tower and talk to Banshee-44. Now he will ask you to salvage custom parts for the weapon. You can do this by dismantling Rare or Legendary Scout Rifles until the quest is complete.
If you do not have enough Scout Rifles, you can buy some with Legendary Marks. There's also the option to take apart Year One Legendary Scout Rifles. When you have all the parts, go back to the Gunsmith.
Later, just hand over the parts and Banshee-44 should give you the Tlaloc Exotic Scout Rifle.
