One of the most awaited FPS game with an open world setting, Bungie's Destiny will be released on Tuesday (9 September) midnight, which is 2014's biggest game launch.

There are various ways in which players will be able to grab a copy of Destiny from queuing up at the store to downloading the game from official retailers.

Below is a guide that will help buyers find out about the retailers and the store locations.

GameStop

GameStop has announced that it will be opening up its stores for the midnight launch.

Reports have suggested that more than 4,000 GameStop locations will be hosting special events that will include contests and music performances.

Players wanting to know the locations of the midnight launch can check here. Most of the stores will be open at 12:01am on 9 September and it will be open till 1:00 am.

GameStop stores will be giving out free samples of Cracker Jack 'D by Frito-Lay and other giveaways. Players pre-ordering the game will get an exclusive Sparrow skin for their Destiny character.

Best Buy

Best Buy was one of the first retailers to confirm the midnight launch party for Destiny's release. The retailer will be giving free Destiny t-shirts with colours like black, blue and gray.

Pre-ordered customers will be getting a $10 Best Buy gift card that can be used for future purchases.

Walmart

Microsoft

Players, who do not have Microsoft's Xbox One console, will be able to buy it with the game preloaded on it. People purchasing the game from Amazon will be getting the Destiny as a free game. However, players will also be able to select games other than Destiny. This sale will be ending on 13 September.

Release Date

Destiny will be released on 9 September for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4.
