New Delhi, Feb 08 (ANI): New Delhi witnessed a record voter turnout of 67.08 percent as Delhiites exercised their franchise to elect a new government. Delhi went to polls for the second time in 14 months on Saturday after the last elections in December 2013 threw up a hung Assembly. Voters came out in large numbers to cast their votes and surpassed the 2013 polling percentage of over 65 percent, said Chief Electoral Officer, Chandra Bhushan Kumar. Kumar said that the polling went off peacefully. The official results would be announced on February 10.
