The Delhi Assembly elections on Saturday, 7 February, witnessed a tough fight between the leading political parties.

While Kiran Bedi is BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate, Arvind Kejriwal represents the Aam Aadmi Party and Ajay Maken is the face of the Congress party.

The voting began at 8 a.m. in over 12,000 polling stations in Delhi, with 40 per cent turnout till 2 p.m.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the residents of the capital city to cast their votes, which will decide the fate of Delhi.

As Delhi votes today, urging voters to go out & vote in large numbers. I particularly call upon my young friends to vote in record numbers.

BJP's CM candidate Bedi and party president Amit Shah have also requested voters to take the call with responsibility.
