Bengaluru, Feb 21 (ANI): Aero India 2015, the premiere air show of Asia, hosted a range of defence equipments showcased by firms from world's leading defence suppliers in India's IT hub Bengaluru. The 10th edition of the international event is themed on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambitious 'Make in India' project in aerospace, defence, civil aviation, airport infrastructure and defence engineering. Countries like the U.S., Russia France and Israel are participating in the event and are acknowledging the nation's growing defence market and hope to contribute to the same. Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), OIS Advanced Technology Limited, NK Sharma, spoke about indigenous 3D radar systems, namely 3D Bird Detection, Tracking and Monitoring and Deterrence Radar System and Ground Surveillance Radar System. The former can do bird detection and deterrence, whereas the latter can be used for both military and homeland security applications.
