After Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone is set to become a producer. For quite some time now, Deepika has been reading scripts and now it seems she has zeroed in on a project.

The actress, who recently ventured into Hollywood, is apparently making her debut as a producer with a Bollywood action film, DNA reported. The movie will reportedly be on the lines of the Angelina Jolie-starrer Lara Croft, which had turned out to be one of her top grossers.

The Bajirao Mastani actress had earlier said that she was keen to venture into film production as she likes to organise things and wanted to make films that the audience can enjoy.

"I want to venture into production and be a producer or line producer some day because I feel I have that kind of personality. I like to organise, put things together and make things happen. I don't want to be a producer because I want to make money. I just don't want to get involved in any kind of business in context of cinema. Profit, loss, box office none of that," Deepika had told PTI.

Deepika will next be seen in Hollywood film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel, which will hit cinemas on January 20. She has also started filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, Padmavati, which will see her as Rani Padmavati, the queen of Chittor. The period drama also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, who will essay the roles of ruler Alauddin Khilji and Raja Ratan Singh of Chittor, respectively.
