Deepika Padukone, who will next be seen in her debut Hollywood movie "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage," has already signed an upcoming Bollywood movie.

Deepika does not have any Hindi movie getting released this year. The actress will now be seen in a Bollywood movie in 2017. Deepika revealed the information while talking about her upcoming Bollywood movies.

"I am always going to do Hindi films, no matter what. Just because I am doing a film there doesn't mean I will shift base. I have already signed my next Hindi film. I start shooting for it from September. It will release next year," Deepika told DNA during IIFA 2016. However, the "Bajirao Mastani" actress did not disclose anything about the genre of her upcoming Hindi film.

Deepika, who has a record of giving back-to-back hits, does not think that the gap in her Bollywood films would affect her career. "I don't know about all that. I never planned it that way. I liked this script and I okayed it. Yes, there will be no film of mine releasing this year and that's just because of how things have happened. Plus, every year, I had 2-3 release so I don't think it should affect much," she told the daily.

In another news, Deepika has reportedly been finalised for Salman Khan's upcoming film, "Tubelight." "Deepika has indeed been finalised for the role and the makers will head to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for the shoot schedule which will begin in a couple of months," Mid-Day quoted a source as saying. To be directed by Kabir Khan, "Tubelight" was reportedly supposed to have Katrina Kaif as the female lead but the latest buzz suggests that Deepika has replaced her.
