Not only commoners but even Bollywood actors have superstitious beliefs. From adding letters to one's name to releasing films on Christmas or Eid, there are rigid beliefs that our superstars are driven by.

Here are the actors and their superstitions.

Salman Khan

Everyone knows about Salman Khan's belief of wearing his lucky blue bracelet. Apart from that, Khan also prefers his films to be released on Eid. He believes if his films release on that day, they will be a hit and will bring goodwill.

Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif is very superstitious about visiting Ajmer Sharif – durgah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. The actress makes it a point to visit the holy place before the release of her film.

Shah Rukh Khan

King Khan also follows some beliefs which are attached to his fleet of cars. In all his cars, the numbers include a special serial of digits, 555. It is said that SRK refuses to own a car which misses these digits.

Deepika Padukone

"Happy New Year" actress Deepika Padukone believes to visit Siddivinayak Temple before the release of her film. She has visited the temple every time before her blockbuster films - "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani", "Chennai Express" and "Ram-Leela."

Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan makes sure that he gets Christmas time to book the release dates of his films. Mr. Perfectionist has given blockbusters which released in the month of December. The release of "Taare Zameen Par", "Ghajini", "3 Idiots", "Dhoom 3" and his upcoming "PK", have been fixed for the last month of the year.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan believes three to be her lucky number. A similar belief is followed by her husband as well. Saif Ali Khan sticks to seven because his date of birth (16) adds up to seven (1+6).

Ranbir Kapoor

Momma's boy Ranbir Kapoor has his mother as his lucky charm. The "Rockstar" makes sure that his licence plates should always have his mother Neetu Kapoor's birth date which is number eight.

Sanjay Dutt

"Munnabhai" Sanjay Dutt also has faith in numbers and his lucky number is nine. Even his car's number plates always read 4545. The digits four and five add up to nine which he believes will bring luck to him.
