Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Oadukone, who were tagged as the BFFs of Bollywood earlier, seemed to have problems since IIFA 2016. It was reported that Deepika refused to perform with Priyanka on stage and it sparked speculations that the duo was having problems between them due to their international projects.

However, Deepika broke her silence on why she didn't share stage at IIFA with Pee Cee. "Priyanka is a fabulous performer and I didn't want to spoil her performance. We might not have done the dance together at IIFA but you can always play the song anywhere when we both are around and we will happily dance to 'Pinga'," Deepika told DNA.

While the "Piku" actress gave a diplomatic answer, Priyanka was clueless about it. When the leading daily earlier asked the "Quantico" actress about Deepika not sharing the stage with her, she had said: "Initially, I guess that was the plan (Priyanka and Deepika performing together). But then I think they changed it. Don't ask me why, I have no clue."

At the IIFA Awards 2016, Priyanka dazzled the stage solo by dancing on "Pinga" song from "Bajirao Mastani," while Deepika performed on another song "Malhaari" from the Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial venture.

It looks like the equation of the BFFs of Bollywood is said to have started to sour. Priyanka, however, likes to believe her rapport with Deepika is just how it used to be a few years ago. "You (media) said we are friends. Earlier, you all (media) used to write we are BFF (best friend forever) so how did this change, why and how it changed? I did not say it (equation) has changed, you said it has changed," the Press Trust of India quoted her as saying.

Both the actresses will be seen in their Hollywood debut films soon. Deepika will appear in Vin Diesel's "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," while Priyanka will be seen in Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron's "Baywatch."
