New Delhi, Kanpur, Sep 13 (ANI): A fast track court in New Delhi would announce on Friday whether the four men accused of fatally gang raping and murdering a young woman on a bus last December, should be hanged or given life sentence to bring closure on a case that had transfixed the nation for the past nine months. The fate of bus cleaner Akshay Kumar Singh, gym instructor Vinay Sharma, fruit-seller Pawan Gupta, and unemployed Mukesh Singh, who had been convicted in the case, will be sealed today amid a growing chorus for death penalty. However, the lawyer representing two of the guilty, A.P. Singh, said he was not sure whether the final sentence would be on merit or under political pressure.
