Feature rich smartphones are available at a very reasonable price today with competition getting tougher. The arrival of companies like Xiaomi that make mobile phones available at cheap price has made it more difficult to survive in the competition. It is quite natural for smartphone makers to slash the price of its old products with several new handsets entering the market at regular intervals. Now, mid-range smartphone OnePlus 2, which is known for its reasonable pricing and rich specifications, is currently available on discount.

The OnePlus 2 was released in August 2015 at $389, but it is currently available on ebay for $239.99. The deal is applicable to new and unlocked OnePlus 2 for a limited period.

The company had described the OnePlus 2 as a "flagship killer" ahead of its launch. It didn't quite turn out as claimed, but was certainly a device with impressive features. Its pricing of $389 at launch was reasonable considering the specifications it offers.

The OnePlus 2 has a fingerprint sensor and comes in two variants – a 16GB internal memory with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal memory with 4GB RAM. It sports a 5.5-inch LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density), powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system (upgraded to Android Marshmallow based OxygenOS 3.0.2 operating system). The device has a 13MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture and OIS, a 5MP front-snapper with f/2.4 aperture, and a 3,300mAh battery.

Should you buy the device? Well, it may be a year old, but it's worth the money and beats most devices in the same price bracket.
