British Prime Minister David Cameron said remarks by US politician Donald Trump about barring Muslims from entering the US were stupid in the British parliament on 16 December, but rejected a call from opposition MPs to ban the American Billionaire from entering Britain.
Opposition Labour MP Tulip Siddiq proposed using anti-extremism laws to ban the Republican Presidential hopeful from entering the UK. Cameron said he disagreed with her, but called Trumps remarks divisive, stupid and wrong.

Now I agree with her that it is right that we exclude people when they are going to radicalise or encourage extremism. I happen to disagree with her about Donald Trump. I think his remarks are divisive, stupid and wrong and I think if he came to visit our country, I think hed unite us all against him, Cameron said.
Trumps remarks about Muslims have gone down badly across the Atlantic, during the last seven days he has been stripped of two Scottish honorary positions and prompted a record petition calling for him to be banned from entering Britain. Also on 16 December, Britains Supreme Court threw out his bid to stop a wind farm being built near his luxury golf course in Scotland.
