The reports of Ravi Shastri dating Nimrat Kaur took social media by storm. The former cricketer and the actress' rumoured affair became a hot topic in no time and soon series of jokes also started doing the rounds on Twitter.

Although Shastri clearly rubbished the rumours terming it "biggest load of cow dung" and Nimrat also denied the rumours through a cryptic tweet, many on social media have come up with some funny reactions to the buzz.

While some of just expressed their surprise at the reports with funny gifs, others came up with funny posts, creating hypothetical situations. Someone even dragged Salman Khan into it suggesting that if Shastri can have an affair (which he categorically denied), then even the actor might get married someday.

The rumours of the Indian Cricket team coach and Nimrat's relationship has apparently irked the duo. When Mid-Day asked for his comments, an angry Shastri said, "Nothing to say when it is the biggest load of cow dung".

Meanwhile, the actress also indirectly rubbished the reports with a tweet that read, "Fact: I may need a root canal. Fiction: Everything else I read about me today. More facts: Fiction can be more hurtful, Monday blues exist and I love ice cream. Here's to trash free happy days ahead".
