The makers of Ajay Devgn-starrer Shivaay will release the second song, Darkhaast, from the film on September 22. One of the highlights of the romantic track, which has been sung by Arijit Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan, will be the intimate scene between Ajay and Erika Kaar.

A still from the song, in which the actors are seen getting close to each other, has already raised the level of excitement among Ajay's fans. This will be the first time in the actor's Bollywood career that he will be seen kissing on screen.

The actor's sensuous scene has set many tongues wagging, with many questioning why, unlike in the previous projects, he chose to break the no-kissing clause in this one. It has now been revealed that the script of Shivaay demanded a love-making scene and Ajay had no choice but to do justice to the plot of the film.

"It's not that Ajay had any policy as such. It just happened organically given that Shivaay binds this beautiful love story between Ajay and his co-star Erica Kaar that it was just obvious of him to go with the mood of the film and get the emotions right," a source from the team of Shivaay told Bollywood Life. "The love story gets a crucial twist in the tale. In fact, whoever has watched this kiss sequence so far feels it is so aesthetically shot that you would want to sit up and take notice of Ajay and Erica's romance."

Shivaay will revolve around Ajay's character and his mission to rescue a girl from a drug-trafficking mafia. The film will clash at the box office with Karan Johar's directorial venture, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, on October 28.

Recently, the collision of the two films at the box office resulted in an ugly controversy when Ajay released an audio clip in which self-proclaimed trade analyst Kamaal R Khan claimed that he was offered Rs 25 lakh by Karan to praise his film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and bash Shivaay. Ajay had also released an official statement demanding an investigation into the issue.
