New Delhi, Sep 22 (ANI): Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, met former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at his residence in New Delhi on Monday (September 22). The Dalai Lama held talks with Singh after being given a warm welcome by the former PM and his wife Gursharan Kaur. Last week, during the official visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to India, the spiritual leader had called for talks to resolve the border dispute as an unsettled border with China encompassing large parts of the Tibetan plateau is a problem for India. He also called Xi more "open-minded" and "realistic" than his predecessor Hu Jintao.
