Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal will be next seen in Arun Gawli biopic, Daddy. The makers have recently released the trailer for the movie. Arjun rarely gets lead roles in films of late, it remains to be seen if Daddy will reverse his fortunes.
Based on the true story of gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli, the movie is about three friends who form a gang after the lockdown of textile mills in Mumbai in 1970. The trio, who are workers residing in Dagdi Chawl, join hands with the Underworld and call themselves B.R.A gang – abbreviation of their initials; Babu, Rama and Arun.
Arjun plays the ruthless and cunning badass Arun in the movie. However, while watching the trailer you will realise the character bears a resemblance to Shah Rukh Khan's Raees. From the big glasses to turning into a politician, Arjun seemed to have followed SRK's ways.
On the other hand, people have praised Arjun's performance in the trailer. Twitterati is full of praise for the hunk and called it his best role till date.
