The premiere episode of "Da Vinci's Demons" titled "Semper Infidelis" will showcase the miserable life of Leonardo's father and how it came to an end.

According to the synopsis of the episode, someone, probably Leonardo's father, will be held captive and face execution in the premiere episode. The teaser of the episode also showed details of the prominent characters of the series.

Executive producer John shiban revealed that Leonardo's father will be abducted by the Turks who may execute him at the end of the first episode.

Season 3 will be the final run of "Da Vinci's Demons" as Starz has officially cancelled the show. However, Starz CEO Chris Albrecht assured that the show will be concluded satisfactorily. 

As reported by Deadline, Albrecht said that the show ran its course and the fact that it released 3 seasons is proof that it is already a success.

According to Spoiler TV, season 3 will start with the Turkish invasion and Leonardo (Tom Riley) will discover that the Turkish army has stolen his designs and somehow managed to improve.

Besides, Leonardo will be shocked to find that his father has been captured by the Turks and may face an execution.

In the meantime, the new show-runner, John Shiban, revealed certain significant details regarding the show. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said, "We're using the Ottoman invasion as a way to bring everybody together and that way, new people will quickly understand what Riario was facing, what Lucrezia's facing because they're all facing one giant event."

Even though the show is confirmed to be cancelled after season 3, as the synopsis states, the story will be concluded justifying the life of Leonardo Da Vinci.
